Meet the Admissions Office

Scott Eckstein

Director of Admission
seckstein@solebury.org
B.A. University of Pennsylvania
I enjoy working closely with prospective students and their families. I've been at Solebury School since 1993 as an English and History teacher. From 1999-2008, I served as the Director of the Middle School while continuing to teach. In that position, I oversaw the academic and social lives of our Middle School students, working with them, our teachers and parents to further our students' development and prepare them for the Upper School. I have been Director of our Summer Day Camp since 1997, and I have coached the girls varsity softball team, girls and boys basketball, and boys soccer teams. I love being a part of the Solebury family, and I look forward to showing you what a special place it is.

Bert Johnson

Assistant Director of Admission
bjohnson@solebury.org
B.A. Temple University

I joined the Solebury School staff as the Assistant Director of Admission in 2003. It has been a wonderful opportunity for me to meet new parents and students during interviews and tours of the school campus. I often travel abroad to recruit new students for our excellent English as a Second Language Program. I also enjoy working with our student tour guides ("sherpas"), as well as collaborating with students and teachers on our Diversity Committee.

Meg Perry

Assistant Director of Admission
mperry@solebury.org
B.S. Villanova University

I joined Solebury School's Admission Department in 2009. My background is in Human Resources and recruitment, so this position has been a natural fit for me. I enjoy meeting prospective students and their families as they begin their journey exploring Solebury School. It's been a privilege watching new students grow into incredible young adults throughout their years at Solebury School.

Jordan Reed

Admission Counselor

B.A. Dickinson College
M.S.Ed. University of Pennsylvania

I joined the Admission Department in 2016, but I began my Solebury School career as a science teacher. I'm also the Dorm Head of Walter Lamb Hall, our boys dorm. I enjoy working at Solebury because it's an institution that values individuality and academics, and I look forward to sharing my perspective as a Dorm Head and former teacher with prospective families.
