Our athletics program is more than just a series of games; our athletes are learning to overcome challenges and become the leaders of tomorrow. Your contribution will directly impact their access to continually updated training facilities and essential equipment - the building blocks of success both on and off the field.
Your donation will be invested into our athletics program, ensuring that our athletes have the resources they need to soar to new heights. All funds will be used to enhance the current Athletic Center with professional equipment and Solebury School branding and get us closer to our longer-term goals of refurbishing the track and relocating the tennis courts.

This year we are proud to return to our auction roots and host an in-person Gala event at The Fuge in Warminster, PA. The Fuge is an 11,000 square foot concrete building that is home to the Johnsville Centrifuge developed by the U.S. Navy in 1949. Designed to simulate gravitational forces experienced by pilots and astronauts during flight, the 180-ton centrifuge is the largest and most powerful ever built. This makes for the perfect venue for our Out of This World event!

Auction FAQ
What is the auction?
Hosted by The Home and School Association, the Solebury School Auction is a fun, festive event usually held each spring at a local, off-campus venue. It is attended by parents, faculty, alumni, and benefactors, and includes dinner, cocktails, and live entertainment.
This year's auction will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at The Fuge in Warminster PA. Live auction items will be available to bid on in person at the event and silent auction items will be open for online bidding from noon on Wednesday, April 24 through 10:00pm the night of the event. There will be a sneak peak of what's available from April 20-April 24.
Why do we have the auction?
As a key fundraising event, proceeds from the auction go directly into Solebury School's operating budget. Each year, $12,500 is allocated to make the work of the HSA possible. In addition, auction proceeds have supported projects, including:
- New furniture in both Hope Hall and Holmquist House dormitories
- A kitchen renovation in the Holmquist dormitory
- An upgraded sound system in the PAC
- An endowed fund matched by the Page and Otto Marx Jr. Foundation that provides tuition support for students of color with demonstrated financial need.
What is the Special Appeal?
Each year, there is also a "Special Appeal" where supporters can give directly to a specified cause. Last year, the Special Appeal supported new furniture for the residents of the Hope Hall and Holmquist House dormitories. In past years, the Special Appeal has funded projects such as campus-wide improvements covered by the Shaping Solebury campaign, Performing Arts Center (PAC) renovations, student support through the COVID-19 pandemic, the IDEA Lab, and a Lighting System in the Barn Theater.
