Solebury School's Advancement office has the wonderful task of keeping in touch with our alums, their parents, past teachers and others associated with Solebury over the years. We arrange regional gatherings to get Soleburians together, we host reunions at school and we are the ones who will ask for your support for our Annual Fund, Capital projects and Endowment.

I came to Solebury in 2004 with my daughter, Lina’08. When I started, I worked with John and Linda Brown, raising funds for the John D. Brown Athletic Center, and in the process, met many alumni and supporters of the school. When John and Linda retired, I became the Director of Advancement. Two of my children, Noah ’96 and Lina ‘08 attended Solebury School for their four years of high school. Solebury provided them with great opportunities to expand their view of the world, to learn how to learn, and to begin to make sense of the complexities of their surroundings. I am pleased to be able to help Solebury grow, evolve and prosper. It is always fun to visit our alums and hear about their adventures at and love for Solebury. A very diverse group of people make up the Solebury Family. I’m glad to be a part of that family.

Some would say that I can’t stay away. I was here at Solebury during the 1990’s as the Director of Admission, Dorm Parent and Tennis Coach. Between 2006 and 2009, I served on the Solebury School Board of Trustees, and in 2010, I returned in my present capacity as Director of Annual Giving. I enjoy being a part of the Advancement Office working to keep people in the Solebury community connected and introducing them to opportunities for engagement with the school. Returning ten years later, I find that Solebury has matured and strengthened in many respects: significant enrollment growth, stronger financially, impressive improvements to the physical plant and academic program, and a dynamic staff and board that has consistently found successful solutions to various institutional challenges. All that said, it is Solebury’s setting that is one of its biggest advantages. Each and every day while traveling to work, as I come down Phillips Mill Road and approach the school, I am struck by its remarkable beauty. I am happy to be back yet again, and I can see that other adults, and especially the students in the community, share this sentiment.

I joined the Solebury staff as the Assistant Director of Development in 2003. From 2003 until 2009 I was responsible for Solebury's Annual Fund and Alumni Affairs. I currently manage the alumni database, provide relevant research, and help raise restricted and unrestricted monies for Solebury. I coached girls varsity basketball which included a Penn-Jersey championship in 2008. I feel very fortunate and lucky to be a part of the Solebury School community and look forward to helping Solebury succeed with its fundraising goals, which will allow new generations of students to thrive in such a nurturing academic environment.

I began my career for Solebury School as a contracted freelance writer for the school’s newsletters in 2000 then assumed the part-time position of Director of Public Relations in September 2001, writing press releases, feature stories for the two newsletters and one annual report, and maintaining the school’s website. In 2003, the position was expanded to full-time as did my role as Director of Communications. Currently, I serve as the webmaster and maintain the school’s social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr, I am the school representative to the news media, and responsible for all school advertising. I am the associate editor of the school’s two magazines, and one of several photographers on campus. I have also worn other hats at Solebury, having been the bus transportation coordinator and fall registration coordinator. It is a privilege to be able to tell the school’s stories every day in so many ways.

I am thrilled to be back at Solebury, having joined the Solebury staff as Parent Relatins and Auction Coordinator in November 2011. I graduated from Solebury School in 1989 after having attended as a day camper, a day student, a boarder and faculty brat. I grew up at Solebury and truly feel that the education that I received here was a gift. In the intervening years, I have worked for numerous museums, handling special events, communications, marketing and fundraising. Now back at Solebury, I am fortunate to work with so many wonderful parents who are creative, hardworking, and completely dedicatedd to their children's education. My primary responsibility is to coordinate the annual spring auction which raises over $100,000 for Solebury's programs and facilities. I also work closely with the Home & School Association and coordinate many wonderful events, such as the Creative Thinkers Series and the annual dinner for senior class and Board of Trustees.
