For Solebury School’s boarding and day students, each weekday brings a full schedule of classes and activities. Day and boarding students have lunch in the dining hall with their friends, faculty and staff. Boarding students enjoy dinner together with friends and the faculty families who live on campus.
On Wednesdays, both of our Middle School and Upper School students, as well as faculty and administration, attend an all-school assembly at 2:45 pm that often include guest speakers and performers. School concludes every day at 3:30pm. After school, all upper school students participate in sports or activities. Athletic teams meet five days a week for practice, sometimes more for games; activities meet three days per week.
Weekends at Solebury School are busy and fun. We offer activities such as day trips to Philadelphia, Princeton or New York City, shopping at the biggest mall in the Northeast, hiking in a nearby state park, or just quiet time for studying or relaxing. There's something for everyone. Day students are welcome to join us, except during "community weekends," which are designed specifically to strengthen the bonds between boarders.

"It is important to have a well-functioning community, so part of my job is to keep kids out of trouble and help them get back on track if and when they do. However, the other things I do: getting donuts and hot chocolate for the students to relieve a little of the stress during final exam time, making waffles for the boarders on a Sunday morning, or sitting down with a student to chat over a cup of tea are equally important in maintaining the spirit of the school and in raising good people in today's world." —ANNETTE MILLER, DEAN OF STUDENTS
