Global Explorations

Each year, Solebury School offers exciting experiences abroad to help students explore new cultures, expand their worldviews, practice another language and create lifelong memories. The following destinations are available for the 2017-2018 school year.

Any of these excursions will enable students to complete the travel requirement for our new Global Education Concentration.

Food In France: Spring Break 2018

Solebury School has partnered with AtlasWorkshops for an exciting trip to France! The trip’s themes of food, sustainability and French culture and
history will help students answer the question, “How can France’s food system change how we eat?” As students travel to Annecy, Lyon and the south of France, they’ll focus on the connection that French people have to food, how this is changing over time, and how this can inspire new relationships with food back home. Here are more details. Students in grades 9-12 are encouraged to apply and students in French classes may be given priority.
Applications are due by November 3, 2017. To apply, please contact Global Education Director Nicole Mount at nmount@solebury.org.
