Trips Abroad

Each year, several Solebury School teachers arrange exciting trips both abroad and within the United States to help broaden our students’ worldviews. The trips are usually planned to coincide with the shorter winter break and spring break.

"The trips you can take are fantastic! There was an eight day, tropical marine adventure to Belize, in Central America. The kids earned their open water scuba certification, snorkeled, did marine biology field work, visited rain forest and Mayan ruins, etc., etc. There was another trip to Quebec City and Montreal, Canada where they took historical tours, ice skated, ate French food, tubed down an icy mountain and shopped at the Canadian Salvation Army. There was a dog sledding trip to Maine, a trip to Costa Rica, a trip to Mexico, a 10-day Chinese Studies trip to Beijing, China, and a trip/cruise to Greece and its islands...with more to come!"
