Vaccination Policy for Fall 2022

Dear Parents,

I hope this email finds you well as we edge ever so close to the opening of the 2022-23 school year. We are beyond excited to welcome you all to campus as we begin the next journey.

I write today to update you on our COVID Vaccination Policy for the 2022-23 school year. Through this pandemic, we have focused on two essential goals. One, to implement precautions and requirements that work to keep people safe and healthy. Two, to remain an in-person school where students and teachers can work and learn in a face-to-face environment. To achieve these goals, we base our policies on continual consultation with our school physicians and nurses, the Bucks County Board of Health, the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (C.H.O.P.), and C.D.C. recommendations. Among the many measures we have taken these past two years, our vaccine requirement has been the most important of them all.

Our updated COVID Vaccination Policy for the 2022-23 school year is that every student must receive the original vaccination against COVID and have discussed with their doctor whether the booster is appropriate for them. If your decision for your child is not to receive the booster, you will need to submit a note from your doctor attesting to your conversation and understanding of the risks associated with forgoing the booster. If your child receives the booster, you can submit a copy of their vaccination card to the health office through Magnus (the same place where the other medical information was submitted).

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
