Community Life

Updated 3/11/21

A key part of the Solebury School experience is the sense of community we foster outside of the classroom. Learning at Solebury goes beyond the academic day and we are committed to providing a rich, engaged community life for all of our students, whether in-person or remote. Information on community-building events, and details on how to participate, are available through email, on our school calendar, as well as by logging into the Parent Portal. Afterschool athletics and activities, such as Track and Field, SLAM, yearbook, and others, continue to be required for student participation.

During 2020-21 school year, some ways that we will nurture our community of students and adults will include:

After-school activities
Arts - visual and performing
Clubs & affinity groups
Community Service
Grade Level Events
Home and School Association
Peer-led activities for students
School Traditions such as Convocation, May Day, Parents Day
Weekend “Calls with Tom”
and much more

A special note about Athletics

Solebury remains committed to offering in-person spring sports five days a week and providing students robust opportunities for training, skill development, team building, and physical activity through on-campus athletics. The goal for the spring is to have interscholastic athletic competitions in accordance with our updated Athletic Health and Safety Plan. The trimester will begin with a few weeks for a pre-season followed by a condensed season. Athletes, look out for communication from your team’s coaches.
