Day Camp CIT Program
For the 2026 camp season, our Counselor in Training Program (CIT) is for students either entering 8th in the fall 2026 and by application only. Students interested must first apply to the program. Camp directors will review each application as they come in and acceptance into the program is on a rolling basis. We anticipate it will take roughly 3-4 weeks from the time a student applies to alert them of their status in the program. The program is limited to an enrollment of 15. Registration for returning families opens February 2nd and for new families February 12th.
Program Goals
The CIT program is designed to be fun, while developing the skills and confidence necessary to work with young children. This program is especially useful for those considering spending their future summers as a camp counselor or plan to babysit.
Enrollment in the program is limited to ensure the most effective personal training possible.
