Cathy Block P'14: American Pop Music: Tracing the Legacy from 3:00-3:30 pm

American pop music is shaped by continuous dialogue with its own past. The fact is, popular music we hear today is all connected. This course examines the interconnected and complex history of American pop music, and tells the story. The real story.

Erika Fairchild P'14: Introduction to Ceramics from 3:00-3:30 pm

Get hands-on in this introductory ceramics class where you’ll learn hand-building techniques while creating pinch pots and clay rattles. No prior experience needed!

Keson Bullock-Brown '15: Solebury Origins & Narratives: Discovering Your Story from 3:30-4:00 pm

What makes a story worth telling? In this interactive class, we’ll explore Solebury School’s origin story and the moments that shape how we define ourselves. You will have the opportunity to craft your own origin stories, reflecting on a pivotal moment, your arrival at Solebury, and how this experience has shaped your story. Whether you're a writer, a storyteller, or simply someone curious about the power of narrative, this class invites you to examine the origins that made you who you are today.

Jay Abbe ’59

Jay is a longtime technology leader and philanthropist with extensive executive and board experience, including 35 years of service on the Solebury School Board of Trustees and, with his wife  Kӓren, the creation of the Abbe Science Center.

Jean Shaw '53 (posthumously)

Jean was a pivotal alum whose leadership, outreach, and unwavering commitment helped rescue Solebury School from the brink of closure in the 1980s and set it on a renewed path of strength, alumni engagement, and growth.

Lana Whitehead '96

Lana is a dynamic CEO, certified professional coach, author, and motivational speaker whose leadership, creativity, and community impact, recognized by national awards, the NAACP, Boy Scouts of America, and the Solebury Athletic Hall of Fame, have inspired countless lives.

Coach Cleve Christie

Cleve is a legendary Solebury School coach whose nearly 40 years of leadership, 500-plus wins, and holistic commitment to developing students on the court, in the classroom, and in the community shaped generations of Solebury students and built one of the region’s most respected basketball programs.
