Thank you for joining us for Reunion Weekend 2026!
We were thrilled to welcome more than 325 alumni, family, and friends back to campus for Reunion Weekend 2026 and the Centennial Closing Celebration. The festivities began on Thursday with a Historic Driving Tour and a Reception at Hotel du Village, formerly Solebury’s lower campus and the Holmquist School for Girls. On Friday, alumni returned Back to Class, stepping into the classroom once again with some of Solebury’s incredible teachers for insightful conversations and creative exploration, followed by fun and camaraderie at the Alumni Reception.
On Saturday, alumni were treated to a welcome brunch followed by the Memorial Service, where we honored members of the community who have lost in the past year. Coach Cleve Christie was inducted into Solebury’s Athletic Hall of Fame, and we honored Jay Abbe ’59, Jean Shaw ’53 (posthumously), and Lana Whitehead ’96 with the Alumni Achievement Award during the Alumni Awards Ceremony. The celebration continued with Solefest, where community members listened to live music by Solebury’s Rock Band, Gabe Parsons ’19, and Clover Stieve ’14, while enjoying food trucks, a beer garden, hot air balloon rides, and a bouncy house and balloon animals for the kids.
This year, Solefest also included the annual Solebury School Auction, 100 Years and Thriving. To conclude Saturday’s festivities, the community gathered to celebrate and bid farewell to Head of School Tom Wilschutz and his wife, Rebecca Wilschutz, as they enter retirement. The weekend then culminated with a Farewell Brunch on Sunday morning.
It was a remarkable weekend, and reconnecting with each of you made it even more special. Whether you traveled from miles away or just down the street, your presence made the weekend unforgettable.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. Click here to view the Alumni Award Ceremony and see photos from the weekend’s events, below!
