The pursuit of the arts is part of a balanced life. Studies show pursuing creative endeavors enhances cognitive abilities in other academic disciplines. In support of this, we have created a schedule where two class periods primarily focus on art, so that students can explore the arts while still taking a full and challenging academic program. While all of our students leave with an appreciation of the arts, several of our graduates each year generally go on to study the arts in college.
Our location in Bucks County, PA is a nationally recognized hub for artists and artistic expression — one of the reasons why Solebury School has been known for its strong arts program since its founding in 1925.
"The arts are really core to our school. No matter if you do theater after school or you're on the track team, you have this connection with the arts. It's a way that we express ourselves." —ERIK, '18
