The SoleStage Players' Wrap Up Fall Production

On Thursday, November 7, our SoleStage Players debuted their fall play, PUFFS, and sold out its Friday, Saturday night and Sunday performances! For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs... who just happened to be there too. This show follows the story of a young wizard named Wayne and the Puffs–a group of well-meaning, loyal rejects with a thing for badgers–in this laugh-out-loud comedy that's "packed with knowing winks to its source material and a heart all its own!" A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

From the magical set and costumes, to the captivating performances, the cast and crew poured their hearts and souls into bringing this highly entertaining, hysterical story to life. Director Micki McMillan shared, "Puffs saw the SoleStage Players performing on a three-quarter stage for the first time ever. This gave the student actors, as well as the technicians, a valuable learning experience as performing and building when the audience almost entirely surrounds the stage, requires a different set of skills. Solebury School was the first high school in the U.S. to get licensed to perform this off-Broadway cult classic, and I am extremely proud of all the students' hard work and professionalism. Plus, we just had a ton of fun producing this show!"

Congratulations to our cast and crew on a brilliant job!
