Last night, our community enjoyed a longstanding Solebury School tradition: Coffeehouse.
The evening is a unique opportunity for Middle School and Upper School students to take to the stage to show off their talents, whether singing, playing instruments, dancing, or performing monologues or poetry. Last night's material ranged from a tune from "The Little Mermaid" to a motown song by the Shirelles to an Imagine Dragons' song to original music. The supportive applause from the audience is as much a part of the culture of Solebury School as are the performances. It's what keeps the night of self-expression fun and accessible to all.
Enjoy the photos below, taken by photography teacher Kelli Abdoney, and catch the next Coffeehouse on Friday, February 9!
