Athletic Hall of Fame
2019 Induction Ceremony
On May 4, 2019, Solebury School inducted former soccer, basketball, and track and field star Dominic Marano Jr. '98 and former cross country and track and field star Claudia Keep '11.
"You weren’t just a number here, teachers actually cared about your education and wanted you to succeed," said Dominic, a particularly accomplished soccer player as a 5-year varsity starter, 3-time all star and 4-time league champion. "It was a family here at Solebury and that’s how the team was, a family. We moved as one, up and down that field, and that’s what allowed us to have three [soccer] championships in a row."
Claudia, who graduated from Solebury holding five different track records and who continued to set records at Bryn Mawr College, echoed Dominic's words. "I just want to reiterate what Dominic said about the community at Solebury... Running is obviously individual but your team does matter, especially for relays, and the best relays I ever ran were here at Solebury."
