Merit Award for Global Citizens

The Merit Award for Global Citizens is our newest initiative to make a Solebury School education possible for students from all areas of our world. The award of $15,000 is renewable each year upon satisfactory academic progress.

Students who believe they epitomize what it means to be a global citizen are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have:

• a sense of being a member of the global community and willingness to share that belief with others
• a history of strong academics and community involvement
• a desire to try new activities and share what they currently pursue with our Solebury community

There is no need to submit additional materials in order to be considered for the Solebury School Merit Award for Global Citizens, however, applications through SSAT SAO must be received by February 1 in order to be considered. Only international students qualify for this merit award.
