The Solebury Theater Collective Wraps Up Winter Production

On Thursday, February 17, The Solebury Theater Collective debuted their winter musical, Chicago: High School Edition, and sold out its Friday and Sunday performances! From the stunning costumes and lighting design to the captivating performances, the cast and crew poured their hearts and souls into bringing this hugely entertaining, dazzling story to life.

Diversity and Culture Share

Diversity and Culture Share is a new performing arts course for the winter trimester designed to celebrate the diversity of cultures represented by each person in our community. In this class, students will explore and exchange their personal stories and those of their ancestors through music, dance, poetry, song, and storytelling. The performance aspect will be cultivated from a regular practice of sharing with each other and will culminate with a music and dance concert at the end of the trimester.

Highlights From the Solebury Music Program

The music department has been busy! Busy putting out product, meeting notable musicians, and challenging our students in new and interesting ways. I’d like to take you on a brief music tour and offer you a window into what we’ve done during the winter trimester and what we are looking forward to debuting in the spring.
