Student Life
Cultivating the Whole Student: Balancing Academics, Extra-Curriculars, and Community
At Solebury School, every week is packed with engaging classes and activities for both boarding and day students. Being a student at Solebury is more than just attending classes; it's about embracing a unique lifestyle that promotes independence, responsibility, and growth.
Weekends on campus are vibrant and offer a variety of exciting activities. Whether it’s exploring neighboring cities like Philadelphia, Princeton, or New York City, hiking in a scenic state park, or attending casino night, there’s always something to do. Day students are encouraged and welcome to participate in these weekend adventures alongside their boarding peers!
Solebury School is a place where the math geek is also the jock and the rocker is also the theater kid. It isn't your stereotypical high school by any means, and I am so thankful for that."

Residential Life
A home away from home!
At our school, each dorm isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a home where every student is part of a close-knit family. Living alongside our dorm parents are our wonderful faculty members, their spouses, children and pets, creating a vibrant and caring community.
Our dedicated dorm parents are more than just supervisors; they’re mentors, caregivers, and friends who are committed to making sure each student feels safe, supported, and happy. From tackling homework together and enjoying TV nights after study hall to sharing life’s ups and downs over snacks, our dorm parents are there every step of the way. Our boarding community consists of four dormitories:
- Arnold House & Creekside
- Holmquist House
- Hope Hall
- Walter Lamb Hall
