In the final three weeks of school, Solebury School seniors have the opportunity to gain real-world experience while working as apprentices, conducting independent research, or pursuing creative projects.
With the support of the senior project advisory committee, students approach prospective mentors and arrange the details of their senior projects. At the conclusion of the three weeks, students give presentations on what they learned to an audience of faculty and parents.
In May 2017, our students spent their senior projects interning for charities such as Womanspace, Fisherman's Mark, and the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect. One student served as a teacher's assistant at the Three Bridges Elementary School, and one worked alongside the EMTs at Second Alarmers.
